May 2025 Update
The donations are pouring in!
Dear Family, Friends, and Supporters,
May was a milestone month.
From record-breaking donations to exciting new team members, we’re seeing momentum build in powerful ways. As always, every step forward reflects our core mission: to make charitable giving more accessible, visible, and exciting in the digital world.
Here’s a quick look at what’s new:
💰 ~$20K Raised in One Month – A Platform Record
This May, we crossed a major milestone — nearly $20,000 raised in a single month by ~100 different donors across active campaigns. It’s the most we’ve ever facilitated in 30 days, and it’s only the beginning. A huge thank you to the nonprofits and donors turning vision into action.
🏅 Board Fundraising + the “Fundraising Olympics” Are Thriving
If you’re a nonprofit looking for fresh, proven fundraising ideas, you need to check this out. We’ve seen incredible traction with our nonprofit board fundraising feature. Nonprofits are having their board members create personal fundraisers with ease, and they are embracing the friendly competition. Our new “Fundraising Olympics” page is motivating them to go the extra mile — proving just how powerful peer-to-peer giving can be when combined with a little competition and a lot of heart. 🧠 Welcoming Our Summer Interns
We’re thrilled to bring on three bright, mission-driven interns to the Giveasy team:
Michelle Shlizerman, rising senior at University Prep
Gabriella Slootsky, rising junior at Duke University
Sahil Anand Desai, PhD student at Cornell University
They’ll be helping us across product, research, and partnerships this summer, and we can’t wait to learn from them.
Thanks for continuing to support us on this journey. With every passing month, we’re reminded of how powerful it can be when generosity meets great technology.
As always, reach out if you have ideas, feedback, or just want to say hey.
Best,
Jack, Isaac, & Eitan
Team Giveasy
